Founded in 1947 and run by the second generation of the Méan family, La Garenne International School (Villars-sur-Ollon) offers a fantastic annual summer camp to children of over 35 different nationalities from 5 to 17 years of age.
Camp offers French or English language courses in the morning, themed activities, sports, recreational and cultural activities in the afternoon, all carried out in a warm, reassuring and family atmosphere.
Adult/student ratio is 1:2 and the same teachers and counselors work during both the summer and academic school year programs.
Boarders stay 24/7 on site, while day students attend Monday – Saturday from 8:30am to 6:30pm. Mini and Juniors are accommodated in cosy bedrooms of 3-4 children in Chalet La Garenne and Chalet Beau Site. Teens are accommodated in spacious en-suite bedrooms with one other student at our Le Roc campus. Teens have extended activities included in their fees.
Fees include: accommodation, food, tuition, activities, expeditions, camp uniform, books and school materials, personal laundry (boarders only), wifi, Geneva Airport transfers (on official dates and schedules only), taxes and VAT. Not included: optional activities, health insurance (CHF 10 per day).
Pocket money is not included and is charged at CHF 30 for Piccolo & Minis students / CHF 50 for Juniors / CHF 100.- for Teens per week.
