Student Profile

Aimed at students with an unrelated undergraduate degree qualification or work experience, this diploma will enhance your culinary abilities and provide a solid foundation of management theory to support those with entrepreneurial ambitions. An optional, paid internship on completion of the study units, provides the opportunity to gain work experience at leading international restaurants or businesses operating within the culinary sector.

Degree Progression

Complete your six-months of study on the IMI campus and then take an optional paid placement (either in Switzerland or internationally) organised for you by our Careers team.

Paid Internship Experience

This programmes offers you the option of a six-month paid work placement. Our Careers team will help find you exciting and challenging placements either here in Switzerland or in a range of international locations such as the US, the Middle East or Europe.
