News from Haut-Lac International Bilingual School
Haut-Lac is setting up its very own boutique boarding house within walking distance of its school campuses.
With over 30 years’ teaching experience, Haut-Lac offers a truly bilingual English-French education. Students experience full bilingual immersion in study, play and daily activities.
As of September 2022, Haut-Lac experience will be extended to residential students and athletes aged 11 to 18.

Academics at Haut-Lac
Haut-Lac boarders will study at one of the Top 10 IB Schools in Switzerland. Choose from English, French and/or bilingual IB Middle Years, Diploma and Career-Related programmes:

- IB Middle Years Programme (IBMYP): students aged 11 to 15 who wish to develop the academic knowledge & transferable skills required to pursue the International Baccalaureate Diploma
- The IB Diploma Programme (IBDP): students aged 16 to 18 who want to follow a prestigious academic programme & step outside their comfort zone. With an impressive average of 35 points over the last 4 years, Haut-Lac IBDP graduate scores are well above the world average.
- The IB Career-Related Programme (IBCP): students aged 16 to 18 who wish to develop their life & work experience in their final two years of secondary school.

What’s more, boarders will be able to enjoy the full Swiss experience thanks to a whole host of weekend activities. These include cultural excursions to major Swiss towns and Winter ski outings. Long weekends and holidays provide great opportunities for longer trips. This includes trips to neighbouring countries for boarders who are unable to return home during term-time holidays.
