Secondary students use a separate, well-equipped building, Chalet Orny, in central Verbier.
Adjacent to the building is a fantastic playground with access to a multi-use games area for ball games and an adventure playground.
Chalet Orny includes several classrooms of different sizes so teaching can occur in full classes or in smaller, breakout groups.
Boarding at VIS: VIS has a small, recently-built boarding house in Verbier’s historic centre. There are separate, secure wings for male and female students. The students have 24/7 support from the Houseparents and boarding staff, who have their own accomodation in the building which is accessible at any time. Each wing has up-to-date, en-suite accommodation for students from Year 7 to Year 12 (and Year 13 from 2025). The two wings share kitchen and dining facilities and all students have access to a shared common room for games and socialising.
